FAQ

How did iTestCash.com start?

The owner of iTestCash.com's grandfather owned the company that invented the counterfeit money pen.  In 2007 there were not many websites selling the pen online so we had the idea to sell the pens online and expanded into carrying the best money detectors we could find. From that point we found a lot of customers who can benefit from money detection can be from fields such as retail businesses, casino's, banks, night clubs, venue halls, online businesses, Government centers and the list can go on.  Naturally from there we expanded our product line to best serve the industry.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do. If the order can be shipped internationally then we will do so if someone places an international order.

What is the best counterfeit money detector available?

The answer can differ depending on what it is being used for - for example, someone traveling might benefit from a Universal Pen or someone using it for a big business might find a heavy duty detector to be more beneficial for their use.

There are detectors that can help for both small and big businesses. Generally the more features a detector has, the more reliable it will be.  We do our best to describe the products we carry and we're sure you will find whichever money detector you choose on our site to be of high quality.

If you have any questions about any of the detectors we carry feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is counterfeit money still a problem in the United States?

Yes, it is still being used in the United States on a regular basis. We write about it numerous times on our blog.  A simple search online for 'counterfeit money' often shows news stories about fake money being used on a regular basis in different places throughout the country. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Fransisco in March 2004, about $667 billion in fake money was in the public's hands in the United States and abroad including United States currency. According to Business Insider there was $261 million in fake money removed from circulation in the United States in 2011.

Does iTestCash have a retail store?

Currently we do not. One advantage of being an online store is we can ship to any state throughout the U.S. without being confined to any one location, as well as being able to ship to customers overseas.

What type of security does iTestCash use for orders?

Our site is hosted on Shopify so we have the advantage of having SSL 128 bit security which has the same level of encryption that is used by banks to keep information secure. Along with that we also have Paypal and Stripe security when placing an order.

Do you sell products at wholesale rates?

Yes. We ask customers interested in wholesale to contact us so we can work out details. We can give discounted rates on many items when bought in bulk including cash registers, money detectors and counters.
