    Portable Money and ID Verification

    The Tri-Test Counterfeit Money Detector is an easy to use and portable detector. It has a built in UV Light that can reveal security threads on various identification cards and documents - including Currency, Credit Cards, International Currencies, Traveler's Passports, Checks and Drivers Licenses.

    Verifies US Bills Security Threads

    For bills it can detect US dollars ranging from $5 to $100 bills after 2006 that have security threads in them.  When you put a bill into the TriTest's UV light, it will reveal the bills security thread.

    Works with AC Adapter or Batteries

    The Tri-Test runs on an optional ac adapter or batteries (3 C batteries not included) for efficient portable use.

    Counterfeit Pen is included

    A counterfeit detector pen is also included for additional counterfeit detection.

    No more fake bills!

    Works well. In our first month we've already stopped a few bad bills so it is well worth the money for our store. I will say one thing though- the power cable is well worth getting. We used batteries at first but once you change them a few times, you would save with the power adapter. Cheers

    Good product

    This item it pretty near. it runs on 3 C batteries and uses an ultraviolet light which detects the security strip on US bills. This is one of the lower cost models but even so if you catch a few small bills or even one or two big ones that makes this worth it already. We've been using for a few weeks and have spotted a few bills to date and haven't needed to change the batteries. When we come across a fake bill we ask customers if they can simply use another one.
